Tender Notice CONTRACT NUMBER: CONTRACT SANRAL N001-156-2020/1 THE SPECIAL MAINTENANCE ON NATIONAL ROUTE 1, SECTION 15 AND 16, FROM GLEN LYON (KM 62.3) TO ZANDKRAAL (KM 12.84) EXPRESSION OF INTEREST NOTICE CLOSING DATE: 20 NOVEMBER 2024 Roadmac Surfacing (Pty) Ltd invites submissions from EME/QSE subcontractors/ suppliers for CONTRACT SANRAL N001-156-2020/1- THE SPECIAL MAINTENANCE ON NATIONAL ROUTE 1, SECTION 15 AND 16, FROM GLEN LYON (KM 62.3) TO ZANDKRAAL FROM (KM 12.84) endorsed by The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL). This project is in the Free State Province in the Mangaung metropolitan municipality and Masilonyana Local Municipality. It is envisaged that subcontractors / suppliers will be required for the following scope of works: Drains Culverts and stone pitching. Spreading of cement. Texture treatment (Slurry) Crack sealing. Road Restraint Systems (Guardrails) Fencing and finishing of road reserve Road Signs. Road Marking and Road Studs. Supply and Service of Chemical Toilets Supply of Cement. Provision of Security Services. Supply of asphalt Supply of Bitumen and emulsion. Opportunities may vary, depending on the final Scope of Work It is estimated that would need to have an active CIDB contractor grading designation of 1 to 4 and classes of construction work is CE for most of the works except for road markings where a SK class of construction work will also be applicable. Where an application for re-instating of Active status or for upgrading of status has been made with the CIDB in writing and the decision is pending, proof of this application and acknowledgement of receipt of the application by the CIDB is to be provided. The applicant is to note, however, that should the status or upgrading not be confirmed or considered by the CIDB at the closing date of the tender process , the tenderer/applicant will no longer be considered .
