Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SA Tenders AI (the “Platform”), operated at satendersai.co.za. By registering for or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Accounts & Organisations
Subscriptions belong to an organisation, not an individual user. The person who creates an organisation is its owner and may invite members with roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Read-only). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration details, including a valid company registration where required.
Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal
- The Platform offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan at R399 per month (incl. VAT), billed through PayFast.
- Monthly subscription: your Pro plan auto-renews every month via PayFast until you cancel. By choosing this option you authorise recurring charges.
- One-time payment (“pay-as-you-go”): a single payment grants 31 days of Pro access with no automatic renewal.
- Accepted methods via PayFast include card, instant EFT and SnapScan. Prices may change on notice; changes never apply to a period already paid for.
Cancellation, downgrades and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
AI Outputs Are Decision Support — Not Professional Advice
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to read tender documents and produce compliance checklists, pricing estimates and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) drafts. These outputs are automated estimates and aids only. SA Tenders AI is not a professional quantity surveyor, engineer, attorney, accountant or tax practitioner, and its outputs do not constitute professional, legal, financial or engineering advice.
- Where a tender does not contain a Bill of Quantities, the Platform will not fabricate one — quantities and rates for works such as construction or repairs must be determined by a qualified professional from the project drawings and specifications.
- You are responsible for independently verifying every figure, quantity, closing date and requirement before submitting any bid.
- You bear sole responsibility for your bid, its pricing and its compliance.
Not Affiliated with Government or Tender Portals
SA Tenders AI aggregates publicly available tender information from sources including the National Treasury eTender portal, government departments and municipalities. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any organ of state or procurement portal. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, current or error-free. Always confirm a tender’s details and submit through the official issuing authority.
Acceptable Use
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary, you may not scrape, bulk-export or resell our aggregated data, misrepresent BBBEE status, circumvent plan limits, or use the Platform unlawfully.
Intellectual Property
The Platform, its software, design and aggregated datasets are owned by SA Tenders AI and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for your own procurement activities during your subscription. You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the bids you prepare; you grant us a licence to process them solely to provide the service to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is”. SA Tenders AI is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any lost tender, rejected bid, mispricing or business loss arising from reliance on AI outputs or platform availability. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act.
Suspension & Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time and cancel your subscription per the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful conduct. On termination your right to use the Platform ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, liability, governing law) continue to apply.
Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. We may update these Terms on notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions:
