Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage. Together they let the Platform keep you signed in, remember choices and stay secure.

Essential (always active)

These are strictly necessary for the Platform to work and cannot be switched off. They include your authentication session (keeping you logged in), security tokens (CSRF protection), and your idle-logout timer. They do not track you across other websites.

Preferences (local storage)

We store small amounts of data in your browser to remember interface state — for example, your last-activity time used for automatic logout. This stays on your device.

Analytics (cookieless)

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and measure site performance. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personal identifiers. Visits are counted using an anonymous hash that cannot be linked back to you.

Marketing (not used)

SA Tenders AI does not run advertising or marketing cookies. If we introduce any in future, we will update this policy and request your consent before they are set, as required by POPIA and the ECT Act.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because our cookies are essential to the service, disabling them will prevent you from logging in or using core features. We show a one-time notice on your first visit explaining this; since we set only essential cookies (our analytics is cookieless), there are no optional cookies to opt out of.

Payment pages are hosted by PayFast and governed by PayFast’s own cookie and privacy practices. We never receive your raw card details.
